Huey Lewis and the News
I'm trying to start with the "not so obvious" ones. I mean, you only have to read my profile or facebook to know I'm a Star Wars fan, or I like to listen to U2. But this is a group that I just adored in high school, and still like to listen to. They don't get as much radio play now a days (heck, they were old when they were hip...now they are just old...) but the music is timeless and fun. Simply not enough brass in today's bands.Got to see Huey at a casino in MN one year...what a great concert! Maybe I'm thinking of them because I'm going out tonight with some friends to hear an 80's cover band. Gonna dance the night away! :)
